Description

This course prepares Indigenous performers with a range of knowledge and skills to enter the performing arts industry as an actor for roles in theatre, television and film productions.

While the occupation outcomes of this course align to the occupation description for ANZSCO code 211111 Actor on the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) website, the AQF level of the qualification does not align to the Skill Level (1) assigned to this occupation by the ABS.

Packaging Rules
To achieve the qualification 11436NAT Certificate IV in Aboriginal Performance, the learner must complete fifteen (15) units - consisting of four (4) Core and eleven (11) Electives.

Total number of units = fifteen (15)
- four (4) Core units, plus
- eleven (11) Elective units

The elective units chosen must be relevant to the work outcome and meet local industry needs.
