Description

The Certificate IV in Leadership and Mentoring focuses on developing the skills and knowledge to effectively lead and mentor others. It is customisable to specific industry or community environments and can lead to workplace leadership roles, further study in Certificate IV or Diploma programs, or entry into some university courses.

Packaging Rules
To achieve the Certificate IV in Leadership and Mentoring, learners must successfully complete:
- 5 (five) core units
- a selection of elective units within a range of 100-150 nominal hours:
- Elective units can be imported from any Accredited Course or endorsed Training Package qualification at AQF level 4.
- A maximum of one (1) unit of competency can be imported from any Accredited Course or endorsed Training Package qualification at either AQF level 3 or AQF level 5.

Electives units should be relevant to the key client group, job outcome or local industry requirements and the qualification level.

Units drawn from Training Packages or other Accredited Courses must comply with the Assessment Guidelines of that Training Package or Accredited Course.

2. Elective units
