1. Prepare for work
  • 1.1 Identify work instruction for operating carton forming machine
  • 1.2 Identify workplace health and safety requirements for task, including personal protective equipment
  • 1.3 Prepare equipment and consumables for assembling and preparing cartons
  • 1.4 Carry out start-up procedures following work instructions
2. Operate carton forming machine
  • 2.1 Operate carton forming machine following workplace requirements and workplace health and safety requirements
  • 2.2 Monitor carton blanks to ensure compliance with quality assurance requirements and specifications
  • 2.3 Report any defects with carton forming to supervisor
  • 2.4 Monitor and maintain supply of consumables to forming machine
  • 2.5 Maintain flow of assembled cartons to meet daily production requirements
  • 2.6 Complete daily maintenance routines as specified in work instructions
