Description
This skill set provides a set of skills for assisting with dental radiography work.
Pathway Information
Achievement of these units provides credit towards HLT45021 Certificate IV in Dental Assisting.
Licensing / Regulatory Information
No occupational licensing, certification or specific legislative requirements apply to this Skill Set at the time of publication. Dental radiography work must only be performed by a person with a radiation user licence granted by the relevant State/Territory regulatory authority under legislation.
Target Group
This skill set is targeted at individuals who have completed a Certificate III in Dental Assisting or a Certificate IV in Dental Assisting or equivalent and are currently working in the dental industry in dental work roles and are seeking to broaden their skills to include assisting with dental radiography work.
