Description
This skill set is for individuals who perform the duties of providing intermediate geospatial support to Defence operations within the Australian geospatial workplace environments. It provides the skills and knowledge required to store and retrieve spatial data, source and assess spatial data, provide geospatial support to Defence operations and provide geospatial technical advice.

Licensing / Regulatory Information
Personnel seeking certification as intermediate geospatial technicians are to comply with the requirements of the Defence Training Package.
Target Group
This is a Skill Set covering the role of the Intermediate Geospatial Technician within the Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations (ANZSCO) 2322 Surveyors and Spatial Scientists. This Skill Set focusses on the operational application of Geospatial data.
