This skill set provides the skills and knowledge to assist teachers and provide support for student learning in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities.
Pathway Information
Achievement of these units provides credit towards the CHC30221 Certificate III in School Based Education Support and the CHC40221 Certificate IV in School Based Education Support within the CHC Community Services Training Package.
Licensing / Regulatory Information
No occupational licensing, certification or specific legislative requirements apply to this skill set at the time of publication. However, a Working with Children Check is a standard workplace requirement for those individuals undertaking work placements.
Target Group
This skill set is for individuals working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students in a school or in an indigenous community.
