Description
This skill set is designed to prepare divers with the skills and knowledge to perform resource monitoring and environmental assessment of abalone fisheries.
Pathway Information
These units provide credit towards a large number of qualifications in the SFI Seafood Industry Training Package, including but not limited to SFI30119 Certificate III in Aquaculture, SFI30219 Certificate III in Fishing Operations and SFI30419 Certificate III in Fisheries Compliance.
Licensing / Regulatory Information
Licensing and regulatory requirements may apply to units SFIDIV302 and SFIDIV304. Occupational diving is regulated independently by each state and territory workplace health and safety authority. Users are advised to check with the relevant authority to confirm current requirements.
