Description
This skill set is designed to cover the skills and knowledge required to begin work in a food processing setting, in an operational role under supervision. In this role workers have the technical skills to use a limited range of machinery and/or equipment to process food and carry out routine tasks guided by established procedures.

These units of competency provide credit towards a number of qualifications in the FBP Food, Beverage and Pharmaceutical Training Package, including:
FBP20121 Certificate II in Food Processing
