Description
This skill set is designed for people wishing to attach flexible cords/cables and plugs for voltages operating up to 1000 V a.c. These competencies are in addition to competencies already gained in the relevant field to which the electrical work is incidental or a primary and regular function of the work. Learners will be developing skills in working safely on electrical cords and plugs, select and use testing and measuring devices; terminate and connect cords and plugs to Australian Standards; safety test and report on electrical cords and plugs.
Pathway Information
The units of competency in this skill set will contribute to the completion of relevant CII, CIII and CIV qualifications from the UEE11 Electrotechnology Training Package. Please consult the packaging rules of the relevant qualification for further advice.

Restricted Electrical Licence or Disconnected/Reconnected Electrical Licence - please refer to your local licensing body for details concerning the jurisdictional conditions and requirements for the issue of a license.
