Description
This skill set covers skills, knowledge and work performance requirements to allow qualified electricians to write specifications for electrical engineering projects, evaluate performance of low voltage electrical apparatus, classify hazardous areas, conduct audit of hazardous areas installations and report on the integrity of explosion-protected equipment in a hazardous area in the coal mining industry.

The units of competency in this skill set will contribute to the completion of relevant Diploma and Advanced Diploma qualifications from the UEE11 Electrotechnology Training Package.
