Description
This Skill Set provides the skills and knowledge required for recovery team leaders to mobilise, motivate and manage others and to maximise team empowerment through shared leadership.They have responsibility for a defined area of work (predetermined or ad hoc) delegated to them, including supervision of people allocated to the area of work, the work outcomes and reporting. It involves conducting briefings and debriefings, coordination of recovery services in addition to the management of information and financial resources.

This Skill Set is part of the PUA Public Safety Training Package.This Skill Set can be a standalone outcome, or the units may be included in a qualification as an elective option.The units of competency in this Skill Set can contribute to the completion of relevant Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma qualifications from the PUA Public Safety Training Package.
