Description
This Skill Set has been developed for the upskilling of existing cabinet makers to conform with licensing requirements for the installation of kitchen and bathrooms cabinets.
Pathway Information
These competencies can provide credit towards relevant certificate IV qualifications from the MSF Furnishing Training Package.
Licensing / Regulatory Information
There are no licensing or regulatory requirements directly associated with the MSF units of competency in this Skill Set. However, this Skill Set meets the licensing requirements in some jurisdictions for the installation of kitchen and bathroom cabinets.
Target Group
This Skill Set applies to persons having documented relevant industry experience or completed MSF31113 Certificate III in Cabinet making who are required to attain a license for the installation of kitchens and bathrooms and to ensure requirements are maintained and monitored to meet Australian standards and client needs.
