Description
This Skill Set provides the skills and knowledge required for personnel who coordinate emergency management/disaster recovery activities and facilitate this through the public information function. It includes leading meetings with the Recovery Group Coordinators and the Recovery Organisation Functional Managers to ensure emergency management/disaster recovery activities in the affected area are effective and coordinated.

This Skill Set is part of the PUA Public Safety Training Package.This Skill Set can be a standalone outcome, or the units may be included in a qualification as an elective option.The units of competency in this Skill Set can contribute to the completion of relevant Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma qualifications from the PUA Public Safety Training Package.
