Description
These units describe the skills and knowledge to identify, select and implement a Geographic Information System (GIS) into a land based production business, select and apply modern agricultural technology in production systems, cover the recording and reporting of farm activities, mapping, farm and production planning, data collection and analysis, applications in agricultural science from spatial information tools to the precision application of production inputs and growth models for the improvement of production, identify, interpret, enter and use agricultural data, identify and address data gaps, and review agricultural data.
