Description

This course has been designed to assist trainees:

-
To develop the job specific skills, knowledge and the attitudes
necessary to competently perform the duties and tasks of a small offset printer
within the small offset printing sector of the printing industry to Level 2, as
described by the Australian Standards Framework.

To develop broad based skills in techniques of problem solving and
planning, information technology, basic numeracy and literacy and practical
manual skills transferable to new work situations.

The off-the-job training program aims to give the trainee a balance of
generic skills, knowledge and personal attitudes required for their future
career development and specific skills which will complement on-the-job
activities.
